One of the most formative experiences I had during my time at Wilkes University was working at the Sordoni Art Gallery. I started off as simply a desk attendant, but overtime I joined the design team and was given the role of social media coordinator. I was able to create all sorts of materials from programs, to signage, to social media assets. It was a useful experience to see a piece evolve from a design on a computer to an installation in an art gallery. I had the unique honor to create pieces utilizing and highlighting artwork from artists of all different eras and fortes. The biggest honor I received during my time at the gallery was doing the entirety of the branding for the show In Search of Meaning: Memory Becomes Us. I got to work on every asset promoting the exhibition, from the large title wall to the object labels marking the artwork.
